Singer, Artist, Composer
Yael Naim, a Parisian-born, Franco-Israeli singer-songwriter, has embarked on a captivating 20-year journey of self-discovery through her music. As a multi-instrumentalist and producer, she has continuously strived to create a unique sound world across a series of captivating albums.
Yael's rise to fame in the US occurred in 2008 with her hit single "New Soul," featured in an Apple advertising campaign for the MacBook Air. Her singing career began with a role in the musical Les Dix Commandements, and her first solo album, In a Man's Womb, was released in 2001. Her musical collaborations with her husband, David Donatien, have resulted in acclaimed albums like She Was A Boy (2010) and her self-titled 2007 effort. However, Yael's latest album, NightSongs, takes a different direction, with the songs being solely hers, arranged and produced by her alone. The creation of NightSongs was a deeply personal and introspective journey for Yael, prompted by turning 39 and reflecting on her life's path.
