Olve Sande - 2024
Olve Sande (b. 1984) is a Norwegian artist who investigates the relation between painting, architecture, and site.
His artistic practice is characterized by the connection between architecture and literature, often materializing in purely abstract works.
The richly coloured works exhibited here touch on his experimental take on materials which include pigment, plaster, clay, ink marble and rabbit skin, glue, distemper and acrylics.
Represented by Ciccia Levi in Paris, he has shown in some of the country’s best known spaces such as Kunsternes Hus and Stavanger Kunstmuseum.
