CLAIRE TABOURET - 2022

The Dock

STABLES

Born in 1981 in Pertuis, France. Lives and works in Los Angeles, USA.

Claire Tabouret is a French painter. Her work is included in a number of collections, including the Pinault Collection.

A graduate of the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris, she is also a former scholarship holder at the Union School of Arts in New York. In September 2013, businessman and collector François Pinault and his curator Caroline. Bourgeois attended the opening of her exhibition 'Prosopon' at the Galerie Isabelle Gounod. François Pinault acquired a painting for the exhibition "L'Illusion des lumières" at the Palazzo Grassi in Venice. In January 2015, she presented a new solo show at a different gallery, Bugada & Cargnel, in the Belleville district. As its title suggests, this exhibition is a series of large-scale canvases on the theme of the debutante ball.

Since finishing her studies in 2006, Tabouret has exhibited at galleries in Paris, London, New York, Hong Kong, and Barcelona. Multiple public collections, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Pérez Art Museum Miami, and Yuz Museum in Shanghai, own her work.
