Member of Parliament at the Walloon Parliament and the French Community Parliament
Nicolas Janssen is a passionate advocate of sustainable development and responsible governance. After graduating in Business Engineering from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, he served in various roles at the Federal Public Service of Foreign Affairs and Belgian Development Cooperation. He later studied at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
Nicolas became a councilor for Brabant Wallon in 2000. He was re-elected in 2012 and 2018. In 2019, he became a member of the Walloon Parliament, focusing on education, mental health for youngsters, environmental matters and entrepreneurialism. Nicolas also teaches at Solvay, sharing his expertise in sustainable development and social entrepreneurship.
In La Hulpe, Nicolas serves as Alderman, prioritizing environment, societal transition, mobility, and animal welfare.
