State of Europe: Role and promise in a post-election order

Join us for an exclusive session and engage in an in-depth discussion on Europe’s future beyond this major election year.

Following Friends of Europe’s 2024 State of Europe high-level roundtable* this one-hour exclusive session will give you a unique opportunity to exchange on the role and promises of Europe beyond this pivotal election year and for the European institutional cycle to come.

In recent years, both natural and human-made crises, coupled with uncertainties from technological advancements and rising polarization, have profoundly impacted European societies, amplifying calls from citizens for a more socially oriented Europe going beyond economic growth.

As Europe enters a new era following a series of major elections, transatlantic relations will be crucial in addressing shared global challenges from climate change to digital transformation and security.

• What do the US presidential election results mean for the future of the transatlantic partnership?

• How can EU institutions work more effectively with both the private and national public sector to ensure that Europe's social market economy remains robust, while also maintaining global competitiveness?

Don’t miss this opportunity to sit at the table with some of Europe’s leading figures and engage in collective brainstorm with them.

Speakers to be announced soon.
