For its third edition, La Table des Voyageurs welcomes reporter Wilson Fache for an intimate lunch to discuss his experience as a journalist covering conflict zones.
Wilson Fache is a 32-year-old Belgian freelance reporter. A former correspondent in Iraq and the Palestinian territories, he has also covered the Syrian conflict, the return to power of the Taliban in Afghanistan, the Israel-Hamas war of 7 October, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
His reports have already won numerous awards. Last year, he won the Albert Londres Prize, the most prestigious award in French-language journalism, for his for his 'rare pen' and 'talent for evocation'.
We'll be taking a look with him at how this profession became a vocation, when at just 22 he left to cover the war against the Islamic State group in Iraq, where he lived for 2 years.
His reports have appeared in numerous French and English-language media, from RTBF to AFP, from L'Echo to CNN, from La Libre Belgique to Le Figaro.
Take a look at the daily life of a journalist in a hostile zone with Wilson Fache, who has done us the honour of joining us for an intimate and inspiring lunch, just the way we like it.
