Aaron Peirera

Co-Lead The Wellbeing Project

Aaron Pereira is currently the Project Lead for The Wellbeing Project. Co-created with Ashoka, Esalen, Impact Hub, Porticus, the Skoll Foundation, and Synergos, The Wellbeing Project emerged from Aaron's 7-year sabbatical, which was all about taking time for and re-centering his inner life.

Aaron's dedication to social change runs in the family and extends beyond The Wellbeing Project. He previously  co-founded a pilot social enterprise to address housing issues in Mumbai slums, addressing inequity. Exploring the intricacies of neighborhood life, particularly in Paris, has also been a part of his diverse experiences.  Before his sabbatical, Aaron played a significant role as a co-founder of CanadaHelps and Vartana. CanadaHelps, one of Canada’s leading charities, engages over 3 million Canadians to raise over $400 million a year for social causes across Canada and around the world.

Aaron's contributions to social change have earned him recognition as an Ashoka Fellow and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.
